In 2007, Allied Anesthesia Medical Group, Inc. celebrated its 50th Anniversary of continuous, clinically excellent medical service in Orange County, California. Growing from the modest roots of informal association of anesthesiologists with similar interests and high clinical standards, a commitment to service and patient care excellence, Allied is now composed of 40 physicians who continue to embrace these core values. This has enabled Allied to continue to provide the highest quality anesthesia services to the pediatric and adult population of Orange County and surrounding area.

Allied physicians are involved in caring for patients with routine to highly complex surgical care requirements. Our services include general anesthesia and pain management, cardiac anesthesia for pediatric and adult patients, and obstetrical anesthesia. The patient population we serve includes the full spectrum of patients ranging from tiny neonatal pediatric heart patients to morbidly obese adult patients undergoing gastric bypass procedures as well as the wide range of surgical cases in between. Allied is consistently recognized as the leader in patient and physician satisfaction surveys as the specialty with the highest level of reported satisfaction from patients and surgeons,  an objective measurement of its high degree of professionalism and clinical excellence.

Allied’s leadership in the provision of clinical care as well as the management and medical direction of anesthesia services is widely respected. Allied is the exclusive provider of anesthesia services for St. Joseph Hospital of Orange and Children’s Hospital of Orange County. In addition it also provides the overall Surgical Services Medical Direction for both of these fine institutions. These operating rooms are known to be among the busiest in the State of California in volume of cases, many of which involve highly complex medical conditions requiring the highest level of medical service and attention. It is significant, noteworthy and a source of pride and accomplishment that Allied has been chosen by the management and Trustees of these hospitals to be their exclusive provider of pediatric and adult anesthesia and pain management services. In addition to our hospital service sites, Allied provides anesthesia services to several highly regarded area ambulatory surgery centers. In an effort to share its expertise, Allied also provides educational opportunities for community hospital anesthesiologists through periodic symposia on various adult and pediatric anesthesia topics.
